We serve our surrounding neighborhoods first. If you live in one of our neighborhoods: College Hill, Higgins Heights, Jones Grove, Wheeler District, or Will Rogers Courts, all you have to do is enroll! Check out the boundary map.

Bilingual Learning Experience
We offer a dual-language education path for our students at Western Gateway. It is an immersive experience, where students become bilingual and bi-literate, as they progress through their elementary grade levels. Together, classmates will learn to speak, learn, and write in two languages: English and Spanish. Students learn about others cultures and languages through everyday experiences and conversational Spanish.
All our students will grow in confidence, creativity, and competency as they learn about their world – and as they develop a sense of community and belonging here at home, at Western Gateway Elementary.
